  • Harry has just completed his Psychology honours at the University of Melbourne. He hopes to continue his studies post-graduate to become a Clinical Psychologist.

    Some of his personal interest areas are ecology, stories & storytelling in all mediums but especially books, film and video games. He loves watching sports and follows - AFL, NRL and Formula 1. He has two very cute dogs (Missy and Tarzan) because dogs are awesome.

    Professionally he is interested in Clinical Psychology, particularly the area of psychological development across the whole life-span. As well as evolutionary psychology.

  • Emily has a certificate in allied health assistance and is currently completing a Bachelor's or Health Sciences. She plans to complete further study for a Master’s in Occupational Therapy once completing her degree.

    Emily loves working with children and is passionate about helping them achieve their goals. She genuinely cares about the children and families she works with.

    Emily also loves spending time with her Cavoodle pip and rabbits! She also enjoys gardening and is hoping to start being able to use more homegrown vegetables. Emily also enjoys collecting cute mugs!

  • Dana is a psychology student; she aims to finish her degree and pursue further studies to become a registered psychologist, with her primary interests being in child psychology, behaviour and development.

    In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her young nieces and nephews, dancing, travelling, watching Formula 1 and baking.

  • Miranda is currently studying psychology. She is particularly interested in the biological side of the field. She finds it fascinating how the brain communicates so many messages at one time. Her goal is to work towards becoming a psychologist and working possibly in a hospital or private practice.

    She loves music both listening to it and playing. She is highly creative and loves to paint and draw but really any type of creating. She also loves to dance, she does many styles of dance including jazz, contemporary, hip-hop and ballet.

  • Ursula is studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at La Trobe University with a dream to work within the paediatrics field in the future.

    She has a passion for supporting people to enable them to achieve their goals and live full lives in the way that works for them!

    She loves spending time with her family and friends and is interested in food, fashion and fitness. She has played basketball since five years old and has a black belt in Taekwondo (she isn’t currently training in this)

  • Alicia is just completed her third-year of a Bachelor of Psychological Science/Sports and Exercise Science at ACU. She hopes to go on to further studies to reach her goal of becoming a Sports Psychologist.

    Her professional interests are all about people. She loves supporting those around her to ensure they know someone is listening to them. She strives to use her people skills, interpersonal skills and empathy every day!

    Alicia loves getting to know people and learning about the different lives of those around her. She is a big sports fan, especially Formula 1, NHL and AFL! She had a keen interest in travelling and fitness.

    She is excited to work with children and make them feel important and unconditionally supported.

  • Jackie is currently studying occupational therapy. She is passionate about inspiring and empowering individuals to reach their full potential, fostering positive change and enhancing lives.

    In her spare time she enjoyed arts and crafts, basketball and reading books.

  • Elise has a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with a lot of experience supporting children in a range of roles, including nannying, inclusion support work and volunteering at school camps.

    She wants to be able to help and guide others as much as possible within any role she is in.

    She enjoys travelling, cooking, sports and being outdoors!

  • Abby is currently studying for a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.

    She is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and learning from those around her.

    In her spare time, she loves art, fashion and sports!

  • Piper is currently studying Psychology with her career goal to become a Clinical Psychologist.

    Her professional interests lie within childhood trauma and grief, as well as neuroscience and animal-assisted therapy. Piper is keen to work with people of all ages.

    Piper loves animals, she has two toy poodles herself (Sprout and Pebbles), she loves art and cooking (Thai food is a strong favourite when it comes to eating delicious food), as well as being out in nature!

  • Kaylee is in her final year of studying social work.

    She is passionate about youth and child mental health and strives to continue increasing her knowledge about child development and mental health.

    She is passionate about music and art and has been since a young age. She loves to play the piano, sing, draw and paint. She also loves animals, she has many pets and loves to foster kittens from her local shelter.

We would also like to make a special mention to Natalie and Hannah, who are team members who previously supported clients regularly and, whilst are onto the next stage of their journey, have stayed part of the Be Heard team, supporting with occasional client support and cover sessions for the team.

Our Admin Team!

  • Karen has been a registered nurse for 10 years. She is passionate about connecting with the people she works with and helping make their experience of accessing support as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

    She joins the team with a wealth of experience in administration roles and a unique perspective from her clinical experience.

    She enjoys weekends away, and finding new places to explore great food. She brings with her a new addition to the pup admin assistants, her 1-year-old cavalier king charles spaniel, Ollie!
