Meet Rhyannon.
I have a big passion for providing high-quality and individualised support for families.
I believe it is very important to build up strong positive and respectful relationships with children and their families to be able to create an environment where they feel safe to have a go and be truly themselves.
It is an incredible honour to be able to help children find their way to communicate and gain confidence to make their voice heard with whichever mode best suits them.
Having had anxiety pretty much my entire life and low self-confidence for a long time, it is very special to me to be able to support children with their anxiety and self-confidence.

“When we show kindness, compassion and consideration for others, we can be a moment of light in someone’s day to show them they are seen, they are heard and they are valued”
— Rhy
Founder & Director of Be Heard
Kind Words.
“I have had the pleasure of working Rhy with two of my clients. Rhy is extremely caring, knowledgeable and dedicated and goes above and beyond for the families she works with. Rhy and I are very collaborative in the way we have worked with clients and she has always implemented any suggestions or strategies I have made and has brilliant ideas of her own….
- Anonymous, Speech Pathologist
“Rhy has been supporting our family for a year. She is our son Angus' therapy assistant and assists us with some respite also. She is bright and bubbly and always arrives with a big bag of fun that immediately engages Angus. Rhy initially came to some speech and OT appointments with us so that she was able to get a good grasp on Angus’s needs….
- Alana, Parent
“My daughter (9years old) has had the pleasure of working with Rhy for the past 6 months. At first our daughter was shy but she has absolutely blossomed with Rhy’s support! Our daughter has struggled a lot but now we are finally seeing her tackle tasks that she was too scared to try and she has gained so much confidence within herself….
